Modern Slavery Statement
Basalt Infrastructure Partners (“Basalt”) is a dedicated infrastructure investment firm with a transatlantic focus on mid-market infrastructure. Basalt provides investment advisory services in relation to private funds and has offices in London, New York, Munich and Sydney.
Basalt is committed to acting lawfully, ethically and with integrity in all of its business dealings. We have a zero-tolerance approach to slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking. We expect the same commitment from the suppliers and service providers with whom we work.
Given the nature of Basalt’s business, we consider the risk of modern slavery arising within our own operations and direct supply chain to be low. Our direct operations are primarily professional and corporate services and Basalt does not manufacture products, operate industrial facilities or maintain complex procurement channels. Our key service providers include professional advisory firms, including financial, legal and commercial advisers, as well as technology and office vendors and travel and facilities suppliers.
Basalt nevertheless remains attentive to the issue of modern slavery and takes a proportionate approach to managing risk. In engaging suppliers and service providers, we apply appropriate diligence and remain alert to indicators of unethical labour practices. Basalt also maintains internal policies and procedures designed to support lawful and responsible conduct, including arrangements for individuals to raise concerns through appropriate reporting channels.
Funds advised by Basalt and its affiliates invest in operating businesses that have their own employees, suppliers and broader supply chains. While responsibility for day-to-day operations sits with those businesses, Basalt seeks to influence the management of modern slavery risk across those value chains through its responsible investment approach, including as part of investment due diligence and ongoing monitoring where appropriate.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Basalt’s modern slavery statement for the financial year ending 31 December 2026. It has been approved by the Executive Board of Basalt Infrastructure Partners LLP and is published on Basalt’s website.
